Rachael Walker has been a pediatric nurse for 6 years, with 5 years in hematology/oncology. She is currently working as the Clinical Nurse Educator at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Southern California. Her clinical interest is in AYA and fertility preservation stemming from her own cancer diagnosis as a college student. Rachael has been instrumental in a hospital-wide sterile blood draw kit rollout, as well as various quality improvement projects focused on decreasing lengths of stay in oncology patients. She is also an active member of SCAPHON.
