Lisa is a board certified genetic counselor who has over 18 years of experience in the biochemical genetics field. After she graduated from McGill University in Montreal she moved to Seattle and spent several years at the University of Washington Biochemical Genetics Clinic before joining the Seattle Children’s Hospital Biochemical and Molecular Genetics Laboratories.
In those roles, she counseled and cared for families with metabolic disorders, coordinated newborn screening follow-up from both laboratory and clinical aspects, coordinated clinical trials, and was the client liaison in the metabolic and molecular laboratories, a position she helped develop. Currently, Lisa works in Medical Affairs at Sanofi-Genzyme where she supports health care professionals in making evidence-based decisions pertaining to health outcomes. Lisa also leads the MSL Gaucher Team.
