Holly Kubaney is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, France Payne Bolton School of Nursing, in Cleveland, Ohio in 1994. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio in 2000. She is a Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse® and has cared for pediatric and adolescent hematology and oncology patients since 1995.
Holly has been an active member of APHON at both the local and national levels, serving as local chapter co-presidents in both Ohio and in Austin Texas. She is an APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy instructor and the vice-chair for the 2019 APHON Conference. She has presented posters, concurrent sessions, and a pre-conference workshop at past APHON Conferences. She serves as a Disease Committee Nurse on the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) ALL Disease Committee. She is a study nurse on the COG infant ALL study AALL15P1. Her special interests include leukemia, lymphoma, and general oncology, as well as the process and safety of chemotherapy/biotherapy ordering and administration. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband of 22 years and their four sons.
