Brooke Cherven is a full-time doctoral student and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Future of Nursing Scholar at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. She also has a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University and has spent over fifteen years working in pediatric oncology nursing at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She has been a volunteer with Camp Sunshine for 10 years. Her research interests include health outcomes and fertility preservation in adolescents and young adults with cancer.
