"Megan Pruett is a nurse practitioner with the cancer survivor and fertility preservation teams at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She began practicing with the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center in 2017 and works as a consulting provider for the fertility preservation team, as well as caring for oncology and hematology patients with endocrine disease and cancer survivors with endocrine late-effects.
Megan has been an endocrine nurse practitioner for over 15 years, caring for children with various endocrine disorders in a busy urban academic practice, and more recently serving hematology/oncology patients at risk for endocrinopathies. Her clinical interests include standardization of care for acute medical concerns in children with diabetes, and program development to support experimental fertility preservation in the hematology/oncology patient population. Megan's research focuses on impact to ovarian reserve with exposure to heavy metal chemotherapy, and other factors influencing AMH in pediatric cancer survivors."
