Dr. Lindsay Young is an oncology staff physician at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Clinically, she collaborates with the oncology faculty to provide outstanding supportive care to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancer patients admitted to the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's. Beyond superb patient care, her primary interest is medical education.
She co-directs medical student and resident inpatient hematology-oncology rotations with an oncology faculty member. In addition, she designs, implements, and revises educational programs for the oncology staff physician program, including a lecture series for continuing medical education and maintenance of certification credit and a multimodal orientation curriculum. She has enjoyed combining efforts with the multidisciplinary team on the Pediatric Oncology Safety Simulation program.. She is currently working on her Masters degree in graduate medical education at the University of Cincinnati.
