"Jennifer Meldau serves as the inpatient thrombosis NP at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has been a nurse for over thirty years. She was a pediatric intensive care nurse for over 17 years before going back to school to earn a masters degree and become a pediatric nurse practitioner. As an NP, Jennifer has focused on pediatric hematology/oncology patients. She currently manages the hematology consult patients who are in need of anticoaguation as inpatients at Childrens National Hospital in Washington, DC.In her free time Jennifer enjoys biking, yoga, gardening, reading, and walking her dogs. Her joy comes in spending time wih her husband, four children, and eight grandchildren. "
