Holly Kubaney is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, in Cleveland in 1994. She earned her Master’s degree from Kent State University in 2000.
She holds CPHON® certification and has cared for pediatric and adolescent hematology and oncology patients since 1995. Holly is an APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider and instructor and was chair of the APHON Annual Conference Program Planning Committee in 2020. She has presented posters, concurrent sessions, and a pre-conference workshop at past APHON Conferences. She serves as the Disease Committee Nurse on the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) lymphoid disease committee. Holly was the study nurse on COG infant ALL study AALL15P1 and currently serves as a study nurse on protocol AALL1731. Her special interests include leukemia, lymphoma, and general oncology, as well as the process and safety of chemotherapy/biotherapy ordering and administration. She lives in Austin with her husband of 25 years and their four sons.
