Recognition Session for Certified Oncology Nurses: The Secret Sauce . . . Thriving in Times of Change (RB)

A great deal has changed since Covid 19 arrived on the scene. In addition to the health threat, virtually every aspect of daily life and routine has also been disrupted. As if our pre-Covid challenges were not enough! So how can we be at our best, even in the face of all the change and uncertainty? Well, one thing we do know for certain:

Now — more than ever — we need a reason to Laugh!

Meg’s presentation will celebrate the accomplishments of Oncology Nurses and related specialties after a year when they were called upon to adapt in an environment where no one knew what to expect next! Using experiences from her career as an Operating Room nurse, she will share ideas about how we can harness our mental energy to bolster our resilience and strengthen relationships with those around us so we can be at our best even when pushed to our limits – all delivered with her trademark humor.

This presentation will entertain, inspire, and provide those attending with tools they can use to bolster their resilience, self-awareness, and interpersonal relationships.

*Please note that while this optional event is included in the conference fee, selecting the event on the registration form is required to attend. Space is limited to the first 300 certified hematology/oncology/BMT nurses who register.
