Elizabeth Vessey, MSN, FNP-BC of Intermountain Healthcare first began her career in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2005 at Children's Hospital Orange County. Since that time she has seen her career take her throughout the country and around the world. She graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science in Nursing and a subspecialty in Underserved Populations.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, she has experience in international community health in Kenya as well as homeless healthcare in downtown Los Angeles, however, she returned to her love of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2014 as an APP/CVC Consultant at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She joined the Hematology Division and Hemophilia and Thrombosis Clinic at Primary Children's Hospital in August 2016. In her current role, Elizabeth provides clinical care to a wide spectrum of patients with both acute and chronic Hematologic disorders. She has served as a sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials and supports ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the division. She has participated with the Pacific Sickle Cell Regional Collaborative to support local sickle cell initiatives and has served as the champion of telehealth initiatives within the Hematology Division since March 2020.
