Elizabeth Holden is a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She received her BSN from the University of Connecticut. She splits her time between direct patient care and survivorship. She is the lead Nursing Educator for the STARS Survivorship Program at CT Children's. She has been a participant in the Hem/Onc nursing research and evidence-based practice workgroup since 2015 with a focus on evolving the transition off treatment for children and AYAs and with cancer and their families. She and her fellow workgroup members have developed and implemented an evidence-based End of Treatment Transition program, which is currently in the evaluation phase.
