Carly Hoffman is a pediatric nurse practitioner at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in the Pediatric Neuro Oncology Clinic. She has special interests in managing chemotherapy symptoms and in being a patient advocate and liaison for families of children undergoing treatment. Her goal is to ensure her patients' comfort while they are in the hospital. She is certified in both acute care and pediatric oncology.
Hoffman received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Dominican University of California and her master's degree from the UCSF School of Nursing, where she completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care Program.
Hoffman is a member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, serving a term as past-president of its San Francisco Bay Area chapter.
Hoffman volunteers as a team captain for Alex’s Million Mile. Since 2016, “Team BAPHON” has raised over $15,000 and logged over 12,000 miles in support of childhood cancer awareness.
