Angela Forbes, MN RN ARNP CPNPAdvanced Practice Provider

Angela Forbes is a pediatric nurse practitioner on the cancer care unit at Seattle Children's Hospital. She started her career at Seattle Children's Hospital as a unit coordinator on the cancer care unit and was inspired by the nurses on that unit (many of them who are still teaching her new things to this day) to pursue a career in nursing. Since 2017, Angela has been a member of the leadership team for the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship. She received her undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University and then went on to work as a pediatric oncology nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital. She then went on to receive her master's degree from New York University.

After graduation, Angela worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in caring for critically ill children with cancer and other immunological diseases. She returned to Seattle Children's Hospital in 2011 to continue her career. She has spoken internationally, nationally and locally about the care of pediatric patients.

Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Angela lives in Seattle with her daughter, Chloe, and their dog, Cookie. Her interests include traveling (pre-COVID), watching bad British television, and reading.
