Trish Peterson, MSN NP CPNPPediatric Nurse Practitioner
Trish Peterson , RN, MSN, C-PNP is a pediatric nurse practitioner at the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute at Children’s Hospital ,Los Angeles. She has been working with patients and families affected by sickle cell disease for 20+ years and is a passionate advocate for the sickle cell disease community. She is a member of the Passages Transition team helping to prepare teens and young adults on education, advocacy and self-care skills.
She is also a member of the Sickle Cell Initiative group at CHLA working within a multidisciplinary team to develop best practice nursing care as well as standardizing evidenced based pain plans. Trish is a member of the West Coast Sickle Cell Nurses Group and in partnership with Debbie Harris is the conference co -chair. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing from Mount St Mary’s College and her Masters in Nursing from UCLA.
