Wendy Landier is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has worked in pediatric oncology for over 30 years. She hold a Master’s degree in Nursing from UCLA and a PhD from the University of Hawaii. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship, in the School of Medicine, and also holds a secondary appointment in the School of Nursing, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She currently serves as Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group Nursing Discipline, where she is leading efforts to improve the provision of patient/family education for parents of newly diagnosed pediatric oncology patients.
