Wendy Fitzgerald has been a nurse practitioner caring for pediatric oncology patients for over 20 years. Currently she is a Nurse Practitioner hospitalist caring for bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy patients at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She actively participates as a core nurse for the neuroblastoma protocols in the Children's Oncology Group and has given 2 other presentations at national APHON conferences.
Her interests include the role of the nurse practitioner in inpatient pediatric oncology and the care of patients with neuroblastoma.
