Virginia Escobedo, RN, BSN, CPHON, currently works as a Research Nurse with the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Team at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She has practiced in the field of Pediatric Oncology since 1988. She received her BSN from The College of New Rochelle in 1985, and became a Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse in 2008.
The majority of her nursing career was spent as an Outpatient Infusion Nurse for the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Westchester Medical Center/Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, NY. Immediately prior to joining the MSK community in August of 2015, she worked with the Division of Medical Genetics at Children's and Women's Physicians of Westchester for eighteen months in a nursing fellowship role.
