Tara Kelly is a Staff Nurse III in the Therapeutic Apheresis Unit at Boston Children's Hospital. She has over 25 years of experience in pediatric nursing with a specialty in neuroscience, neuro-oncology, and Apheresis. Tara worked as a clinical nurse for 17 years in neuroscience and neuro-oncology and was responsible for the development and debriefing of simulation for the inpatient, outpatient & community settings.
Tara is an educator and mentor to staff nurses regarding clinical and professional nursing practice, patient care, core nursing competencies and education related to all modalities of the patient and family care. Tara is certified in Neuroscience Nursing, Pediatric Oncology Nursing, and Nursing Professional Development.
