Olivia Prebus, BSN RNProgram Coordinator — Adolescent Young Adult Oncology Program

Olivia Prebus completed her BA in Urban and Environmental Policy at Occidental College in 2006. She completed her BSN at The University of Pennsylvania in 2009, and is currently working towards her MSN in Nursing Leadership and Health Systems Management at Drexel University. Olivia started her nursing career at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia working in the areas of pediatric HIV, general pediatrics, immunology and hematology.

After relocating to Fort Worth, TX in 2014 she began working in the hematology/oncology department at Cook Children's Medical Center. Olivia joined the Adolescent Young Adult Oncology Program in May of 2016. She has worked with the team since then to develop a strategic plan for the Program including standardized care planning checklists, educational interventions, and additional programming for patients and staff. Her current focus, with Co-Presenter Elena Wright, is the development of AYA-focused nurse navigation services.
