Micah Skeens-Borland, PhD (c) MS RN PNPNurse Practitioner

Micah has 20 years experience in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant nursing. During that time she has served in many roles including bedside nurse, advanced practice nurse and nurse scientist. She received her BSN from Ohio University and her Master's Degree from Wright State University. Micah is currently completing her PhD at Vanderbilt University.

Her research has focused on adherence in the bone marrow transplant population and supportive care in the pediatric oncology patients and families. Micah has been a long standing, active member of the Children's Oncology Group and many other professional organizations, including APHON. She currently serves as the Chair of the Nursing Clinical Trials Subcommittee and as the Disease Committee Nurse for the Rare Tumors Disease Group.
