Dr. Megan White received her bachelors of science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University, her Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Kentucky and is board certified in general pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
She currently is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas in Austin Dell Medical School in Austin, TX where she enjoys incorporating her experience to help treat children and adolescents in psychiatric crisis in an inpatient psychiatric care setting. She also treats patients with a history of trauma at the Center for Child Protection. Most recently, she started a telepsychiatry consultation service for the Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center, where she provides outpatient psychiatric consultation as part of an interdisciplinary team in efforts to improve the access to psychiatric care for patients who are currently receiving oncological treatment.
