Lauren Brown works as an Inpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from University of Virginia School of Nursing in 2000 and started her career as a bedside nurse in the pediatric hematology-oncology unit.
Following graduation with her Master’s Degree from Duke in 2005, she has practiced as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner for the last 12 years, with the majority of that time serving on the inpatient unit, and most recently in the infusion center. Lauren serves as the advanced care practitioner lead for the Pediatric hematology-oncology Quality Improvement committee. She has been active in quality work, presenting results of Time to Antibiotic Delivery quality improvement project at the spring 2017 ASPHO conference.
