Joy Bartholomew, APRNNurse Practitioner

Joy Bartholomew MSN FNP is a nurse practitioner in pediatric oncology practicing for 28 years at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She is active in the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and has held several positions including the Disease Committee Nurse for Neuroblastoma, Chairing Nursing Clinical Practice and Clinical Trials Subcommittees and as a Nursing Steering Committee member. Joy’s COG contributions also include positions as the Protocol Nurse on several COG clinical trials; high risk and relapsed neuroblastoma and acute leukemia/lymphoma. Joy has been an APHON member and has been certified in pediatric oncology nursing (CPON) for 26years. She is active in her local chapter, Greater Kansas City, and has presented to APHON members both locally and nationally. Her professional research interest has focused on delivery of care.
