I'm Chris Donaghey, MSN, RN, PCNS-BC, CPN, CPHON, clinical nurse specialist for the Riley Cancer Center of Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. My current role focuses on supporting the quality and safety of nursing care for the inpatient hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant units. I have been in pediatric nursing for 13 years, and pediatric hematology/oncology nursing for 10.
I hold certifications in pediatric hematology/oncology nursing, pediatric nursing, I am board certified as a pediatric clinical nurse specialist. I am an APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider and instructor, the assistant editor for APHON Counts, and a member of the APHON Evidence-Based Practice/Research Committee. Locally, I am the chair of the Riley Innovation in Nursing & Evidence-Based Practice Council.
