Becca McKnight moved to Los Angeles from Kansas City to study health administration at the University of Southern California. She earned her Master in Health Administration from USC in 2012 and is currently a Performance Improvement Program Manager at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She’s been working in the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department, where she leads organizational improvement initiatives.
In 2014, she became a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer and helped build the 8 hour “Safe and Sound: Aim for Zero Harm” patient and staff safety curriculum at CHLA. She earned her Six Sigma Black Belt from the Institute for Industrial and Systems Engineers in October 2016. She currently serves as the Quality Ambassador to the Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at CHLA.
